Basketball Recap: Richard Wright Public Charter School Comes Up Short

Richard Wright Public Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 101-15 loss at the hands of the KIPP DC Legacy College Prep Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' District of Columbia basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Bulldogs are ranked ninth).

Richard Wright Public Charter School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Richard Wright Public Charter School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for KIPP DC Legacy College Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Digital Pioneers Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
