Basketball Recap: Warren County Takes a Loss

Warren County lost against Greene County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Screaming Devils fell 68-63 to the Tigers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (56), the Screaming Devils still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Warren County and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Greene County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Warren County will venture away from home to take on Washington-Wilkes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Screaming Devils will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Greene County, they will be home for the holidays to greet Manchester at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 61.8 points per game this season.
