Basketball Recap: Castlewood Comes Up Short

Castlewood lost against Rye Cove back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Castlewood Blue Devils were outmatched by the Rye Cove Eagles and fell 59-31.

Castlewood has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Rye Cove, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Castlewood will venture away from home to challenge Patrick Henry at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Castlewood is facing Patrick Henry at the right time seeing as Patrick Henry is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Rye Cove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thomas Walker at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th.
