Basketball Game Preview: Butler Bears vs. Adrian Blackhawks

Butler is 2-8 against Adrian since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Butler Bears will welcome the Adrian Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Butler came up short against Lone Jack on Wednesday, falling 63-41. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Mules are ranked 109th).

Meanwhile, Adrian ended up a good deal behind Pleasant Hill on Tuesday and lost 54-40.

Adrian's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Butler, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
