Baseball Recap: Panguitch Snags 11th Win in Last 12 Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Panguitch had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Valley Buffalos a 2-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Panguitch is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

As of now, neither Panguitch nor the Buffalos have any future games scheduled.
