Basketball Recap: Montcalm Takes a Loss

Montcalm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 52-41 to the Richwood Lumberjacks. The Generals were probably out for revenge after losing 52-41 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Montcalm's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Richwood, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Montcalm will venture away from home to take on Greater Beckley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richwood, they will host Meadow Bridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
