Basketball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy suffered their biggest defeat since January 14th on Tuesday. They came up short against the St. Augustine Purple Knights, falling 53-30. The Cougars have struggled against the Purple Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 23-8. As for St. Augustine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Augustine, they will be playing at home against St. James at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in St. Augustine's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while St. James has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
