Last Saturday, Capitol had to suffer through a 74-13 loss at the hands of Livonia. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Istrouma, falling 53-13. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

McKinley's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Capitol, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Things could have been worse for Capitol, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-48 loss to McKinley in their previous matchup back in December of 2023.
