Rocky Mount Prep's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mykhalah Lynch, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 rebounds. What's more, Lynch also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Jada Silver was another key player, putting up 20 points and three steals.

Rocky Mount Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 12 consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Weldon suffered their biggest loss since January 13, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by Wilson Prep and fell 66-28. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Chargers' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Rocky Mount Prep's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for Weldon, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
