The Blytheville Chickasaws will challenge the Pocahontas Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Blytheville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Trumann 56-24 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Chickasaws considering their 12-point performance the game before.

Courtney Rogers was his usual excellent self, rushing for 144 yards and three scores on only eight carries. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 129 every time he's taken the field this season. Chad Bell was another key player, throwing for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Blytheville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 174 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Pocahontas made easy work of Westside on Friday and carried off a 38-14 victory. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Blytheville's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Pocahontas, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
