Game recap: Palo Alto High School Football Team takes down Leland

SAN JOSE, Calif. - After trading leads five times, Palo Alto (Calif.) snatched the lead for good when Keller Chryst threw a touchdown to Keesean Johnson in the second quarter, paving the way for victory over Leland (San Jose, Calif.) 54-24.

After taking the lead on a Chryst touchdown pass to Johnson in the second quarter, the Vikings led 40-18 at the half.

Palo Alto expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. PA scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown.

Chryst and Johnson were an excellent passing duo during the game. Johnson caught three touchdowns and Chryst threw three. Johnson has now caught three touchdowns this season, while Chryst has thrown 24.
