Volleyball Recap: Harlandale Victorious

Harlandale won the last time they faced Winn and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mavericks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 21-25, 25-10.

Mia Padron paced Harlandale's offense, picking up 12 kills. Padron got some help from Jenna Sandoval and her 22 assists. Sandoval was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

The win got Harlandale back to even at 11-11. As for Winn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlandale will take on Southwest Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Winn, they will challenge Del Rio at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
