Triton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles on Monday as they made off with a 14-0 victory. Considering the Trojans have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Drew Bingamon made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maddox Dennie, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Goodman, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Triton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elkhart Christian Academy only posted a batting average of .167.

Triton is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-18.

As of now, neither Triton nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
