Basketball Recap: Togiak Takes a Loss

Togiak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 58-41 bruising from the Bristol Bay Angels. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Angels earlier this season, when they won 37-34.

Leading Bristol Bay to victory were Aitu Lilo and Kadin Torino. Lilo posted 19 points, while Torino scored 18 points. Torino is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Riley Aurilia was another key player, putting up nine points.

Togiak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bristol Bay, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-9.

As of now, neither Togiak nor Bristol Bay have any future games scheduled.
