After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blair, Elkhorn North was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Madison Dragons a 10-0 shutout. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Elkhorn North yet this season.

Their offense was hitting Madison from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Mia Turner led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Elkhorn North's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three contests. As for Madison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
