On Friday, Chapel Hill got the W thanks in part to Scarlett Gilner playing the best basketball she has all season. Gilner went 7 of 13 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven steals and six boards. The effort marked the most points she has had since back in January of 2024. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Chapel Hill Tigers duke it out with the Wake Forest Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will pit Gilner up against the Cougars' star guard Chiquora Miles. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
