Football Recap: Pine Lake Prep Pride vs. North Iredell Raiders
Pine Lake Prep played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 41-7 loss at the hands of the North Iredell Raiders. The Pride were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Even if they lost, Pine Lake Prep's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Reid Tammaro with two.
North Iredell had a senior duo take command as Harold Jackson rushed for 145 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries and Kaleb Sales rushed for 95 yards and a pair of scores.
Pine Lake Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Iredell, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
Pine Lake Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-7 defeat against Lake Norman Charter on the 26th.
