Football Recap: Douglas Bulldogs vs. Rio Rico Hawks        
        
		
             Douglas entered their tilt with Rio Rico on Friday with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They took their  matchup  with ease, bagging  a  41-3 victory over the Rio Rico Hawks. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four contests by 21  points or more  so far this season.
 Leading Douglas to victory were  Jason Hurtado and  Ivan Higuera.  Hurtado rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, while  Higuera threw for 117 yards and two touchdowns. With that strong performance,  Hurtado is now averaging an impressive 103.1  rushing yards per game.  Jose Ocano was in the mix  as well, providing Douglas with a touchdown.
 The  win  got Douglas back to even at 4-4. As for Rio Rico, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record  this season.
 Douglas will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Rincon/University at 7:00  p.m.  on November 1st. Douglas knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Rincon/University likes a good challenge. As for Rio Rico, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  31-14  defeat against Amphitheater on the 25th.
