Basketball Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss

Woodlawn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 45-17 loss at the hands of the Catonsville Comets. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 70-36 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Woodlawn's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Catonsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Coming up, Woodlawn will be playing in front of their home fans against Pikesville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Catonsville, they will venture away from home to square off against Dundalk at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
