Basketball Recap: Lamar Christian Has No Trouble Against Meridian Homeschool

The Lamar Christian Lions strolled past the Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 84-70. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Jacob Baxter had an outrageously good game as he went 15-for-26 en route to 31 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. DeSean Mayfield was another key player, shooting 46% from the field to rack up 17 points and six rebounds.

Lamar Christian's record now sits at 2-0. As for Meridian HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Lamar Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the FLYERS: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
