Volleyball Recap: Herriman Extends Winning Streak to Three

Herriman had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Cedar Valley Aviators as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 25-14.

Hanalei Su'a paced Herriman's offense, picking up seven kills. Su'a got some help from Savannah Chase and her eight assists. Su'a was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Herriman's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Cedar Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Herriman is set to challenge their familiar foe Mountain Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cedar Valley will face off against rival Riverton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
