Football Recap: Lewiston Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lewiston and Lake City pushed the score to 38-21 the last time they played Lake City, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Bengals took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberwolves. Having soared to a lofty 54 points in the game before, the Bengals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brandon Brower threw for 43 yards. On the ground, Austin Topp rushed for 53 yards on only five carries.

Lewiston's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Lake City, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewiston will face off against Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
