On Tuesday Novi Muffo didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched. The performance marked the fewest hits Muffo has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fifth in a row with less than two walks. On the year, she has an ERA of 3.93 over 35.7 innings pitched.

Muffo's effort led Desert Ridge over Higley and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
