Volleyball Recap: Normal West Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Normal West waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bloomington Purple Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Normal West had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-10, 25-17.

Normal West's victory bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Bloomington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-21.

Coming up, Normal West will be taking part in a tournament against Buffalo Grove at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bloomington, they will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
