For the second straight game, Mountain View will face off against Provo. The Bruins will venture away from home to take on the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Mountain View is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Provo on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 13-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 16, 2024, but that streak is no more.

For Provo's part, Gehrig Orchard was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over 5.1 innings pitched. Orchard was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Milo Rhineer was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dawson Moore, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Provo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The victory (which was Provo's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
