Softball Recap: East Lansing Comes Up Short

East Lansing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Portland Raiders. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Raiders when the teams met back in May of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Talia Dunn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

East Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Portland, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

East Lansing has already played their next matchup (against Mason), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Portland also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Haslett.
