Marian faced Detroit Country Day in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won three matches in a row.

Marian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Detroit Country Day to exactly 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16.
