            Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Park Christian Panthers vs. Fort Wayne Canterbury Cavaliers        
        
		
        
        
            Lakewood Park Christian and Fort Wayne Canterbury squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Lakewood Park Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of  3-2. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won  3-2.
 Despite the loss, Lakewood Park Christian still got an impressive performance from   Delaney Johnson, who  had 42  digs and eight  assists. The team also got some help courtesy of  Reagan Nott, who  had 16  digs and three  aces.
  Caroline Hirschy was nothing short of spectacular for Fort Wayne Canterbury: she  had 27  digs and three  aces. Those  27  digs gave  Hirschy a new career-high.  Brooke Lawson also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
Lakewood Park Christian's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Fort Wayne Canterbury, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8.
 Lakewood Park Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Wayne Canterbury, after both having extra time off, they and Triton will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
