Baseball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

Bryan lost against South Sioux City back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears lost 19-3 to the Cardinals. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bryan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Urban, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Urban is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for South Sioux City, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Bryan and South Sioux City will both be playing Benson the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will host the Bunnies at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
