Softball Recap: Gueydan Bears vs. Midland Rebels
Gueydan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Midland Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Gueydan of the 29-19 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.
For Midland's part, Mackenzie Credeur made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Credeur has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
