Madeira strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Reading Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Give Madeira's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Reading from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Andrew Cornejo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Madeira's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Reading, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

As for Reading, they will head out to square off against Eastern at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
