Basketball Game Preview: Maranacook Black Bears vs. Madison Bulldogs

The Maranacook Black Bears will head out to take on the Madison Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Monday, Maranacook came up short against Maine Central Institute and fell 63-54.

Meanwhile, Madison had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Cougars out 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since January 4th.

Madison's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Maranacook, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Maranacook against Madison when the teams last played back in February, as the squad secured a 66-34 victory. Does Maranacook have another victory up their sleeve, or will Madison turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
