Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Charles). They claimed a resounding 75-38 victory over the Marion-Franklin Red Devils. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Red Devils are ranked 697th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Charles' win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Marion-Franklin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

St. Charles will welcome Bishop Watterson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Marion-Franklin has already played their next match (against South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
