Breck hadn't done well against Minnehaha Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Red Hawks by a score of 7-4. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Breck pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Minnehaha Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Breck will head out to challenge St. Croix Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Minnehaha Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Providence Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Red Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
