Softball Recap: Savanna Comes Up Short

After flying high against Costa Mesa on Monday, Savanna came back down to earth. The Rebels came up short against the Santiago Cavaliers on Wednesday, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-0 defeat on April 11th.

Savanna has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That lines up perfectly with their 6-18 record this season. As for Santiago, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

Savanna didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-3 win against Western on the 2nd. As for Santiago, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-0 victory against Los Amigos on the 2nd.
