Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Wampus Cats are ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Louis Catholic now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Leesville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
