Basketball Game Preview: Greenbrier Wolfpack vs. South Effingham Mustangs

The Greenbrier Wolfpack will be taking part in a tournament against the South Effingham Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Greenbrier was able to grind out a solid win over Effingham County, taking the game 58-47. The Wolfpack haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, South Effingham hadn't done well against Statesboro recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. South Effingham slipped by Statesboro 36-35.

Greenbrier's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for South Effingham, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-18.
