Recap: Eastwood Troopers vs. Socorro Bulldogs
The Eastwood Troopers can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They claimed a resounding 69-27 win over Socorro on the road. The win was nothing new for Eastwood as they're now sitting on six straight.
Devin Falk-Ramirez was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Bennett, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kris Fang, who scored eight points.
Eastwood is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 20-9 record this season. As for Socorro, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
Eastwood will take on Montwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Socorro, they will head out on the road to take on El Dorado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Dorado has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 30.
