Baseball Recap: Parowan's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Parowan walked away with it. They never let the Water Canyon Wildcats get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory on Saturday. The Rams' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Ayden Osborne made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Parowan is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 5-12 otherwise. Osborne was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Braxton Blauer was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyrel Vest, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Parowan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Parowan moved to 7-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Water Canyon, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

As of now, neither Parowan nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
