Volleyball Game Preview: Lancaster Flying Arrows vs. Prairie du Chien Blackhawks

The Lancaster Flying Arrows will challenge the Prairie du Chien Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lancaster and five for Prairie du Chien.

On Tuesday, Lancaster came up short against River Valley and fell 3-1.

Lancaster started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 27-22, 27-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Prairie du Chien also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Cochrane-Fountain City by a score of 2-0.

Prairie du Chien's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Lancaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Lancaster was able to grind out a solid victory over Prairie du Chien when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Flying Arrows repeat their success, or do the Blackhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
