Volleyball Recap: Classical Prep Extends Winning Streak to Three

Classical Prep proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Pasco Pirates 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since October 1, 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Classical Prep got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 18-25, 15-7.

Despite the loss, Pasco still got an impressive performance from Alexa Roenicke, who had 13 digs.

The win (which was Classical Prep's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. As for Pasco, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Classical Prep will take on Hernando Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pasco, they will challenge Land O' Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
