Volleyball Recap: Veterans Memorial Find Success

Veterans Memorial saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Richards School for Young Women Leaders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Veterans Memorial's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Richards School for Young Women Leaders, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Veterans Memorial has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Blanco on the 30th. As for Richards School for Young Women Leaders, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bastrop at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th.
