Basketball Recap: Friendship Tech Prep Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Wasatch Academy

Friendship Tech Prep Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Monday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Wasatch Academy. The Friendship Tech Prep Academy Titans received a blow as they fell 72-53 to the Wasatch Academy Tigers. The Titans have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Friendship Tech Prep Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mekhi Polk, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Haskins, who posted 17 points.

Friendship Tech Prep Academy's record now sits at 10-3. As for Wasatch Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Friendship Tech Prep Academy will welcome Archbishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wasatch Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against AZ Compass Prep National at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
