Pacheco lost against Beyer back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Pacheco started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.

Daijah Young paced Pacheco's offense, picking up seven kills. Young got some help from Isabella Chavez and her 12 assists. Gissel Salinas controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Beyer, they pushed their record up to 6-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pacheco will challenge rival Grace Davis at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Beyer is set to square off against their familiar foe Ceres at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
