Rushville-Industry kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bushnell-Prairie City only managed six hits.
PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Rushville-Industry, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .328. However, it's not like Rushville-Industry struggles in that department as they've averaged .340. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
