Football Game Preview: West Platte Bluejays vs. North Platte Panthers

The West Platte Bluejays will challenge the North Platte Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Platte knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully North Platte likes a good challenge.

West Platte is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over Penney. The result was nothing new for the Bluejays, who have now won five matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, North Platte had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Gallatin/Tri-County by a score of 30-22 on Friday.

West Platte's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for North Platte, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

West Platte beat North Platte 41-34 in their previous meeting back in October. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Panthers' Dylan Armstrong, who rushed for 288 yards and five TDs while picking up 9.9 yards per carry.
