Basketball Recap: Larimore Triumphs

Larimore won the last time they faced Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, and Jace Collison did his part to make sure it happened again. The Larimore Polar Bears strolled past the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 77-60 thanks in part to Collison, who went 13 of 21 en route to 31 points and six rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Mason Myers was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (three).

The win got Larimore back to even at 6-6. As for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Larimore won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hatton/Northwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Larimore is facing Hatton/Northwood at the right time seeing as Hatton/Northwood is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, they and Oakes will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
