Basketball Recap: Jd Taylor Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Heritage

Gilmer got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jd Taylor out in front who went 8-for-14 on his way to 23 points and three steals. Taylor has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegen Bryant, who went 10-for-17 en route to 21 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Gilmer has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points over those games. As for Heritage, they dropped their record down to 10-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
