Soccer Recap: Rome Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Rome and Greenbrier squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Rome had to settle for second. They lost 6-1 to the Wolfpack. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Rome were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Annabel Chandler, who's now up to three this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Rome and nudges their season record down to 12-6. As for Greenbrier, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Rome does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenbrier, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Jackson County at 5:30 p.m. Jackson County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Greenbrier surely won't give up without a fight.
