It was a good run, but Mondovi unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They received a blow as they fell 55-37 to the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Panthers are ranked 46th).

Mondovi's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Durand-Arkansaw, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4.
